Open Lab Projects - Nest Relay is a personal software and electronics project that connects a Google Nest thermostat to a small ESP8266-based display.
The application uses Google OAuth to securely access authorized Nest thermostat information such as temperature, humidity, HVAC status, operating mode, and thermostat setpoint.
The thermostat information is used only for the project owner's personal connected-device display and automation experiments.
This application is not offered as a public commercial service.
